“Introducing Icon Of Desire” features four intimate electronic songs from a group of artists we like and respect.

IOD-001 is the first record of a series that explores the parallelism between the journey of the needle on the groove and space travels, carried out by different vinyl cut techniques. This vision goes back to the golden age of vinyl, when music coming for the future was carried with unique mastery and artistry on the physical mean, asking the listener to pay attention to the aural events and surprising him with the ‘unexpected’.

The record itself is presented as a journey, the tracks and the physical elements (inside‐out and outside‐in sides, etchings, locked grooves) are organized in order to reflect the sonically‐narrated story, the metaphoric meaning of the sequence of tracks and the corresponding space travel graph presented on sleeve… where there is much more to discover by yourself.

This vision is the story of how things go, and how we want things to be: evolving, inspiring, able to shift planes and elevate ourselves.

The record is dedicated to our friend and collaborator Aaron‐Carl who left us in 2010.
